About Us
ST. ANN’S TRUST
ST. ANN’S TRUST work is important because it supports vulnerable individuals who often lack access to professional care, helping them gain confidence, essential skills, and a better quality of life.
ST. ANN’S TRUST is a non-profit organization established in 2009, dedicated to empowering differently-abled individuals in rural communities. Based in Alathur Village, the Trust provides special education, physiotherapy, vocational training, and life skills development for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. A residential special school offers a safe and supportive learning environment with personalized care and academic development. The Trust also operates a government-supported mental health care home, delivering rehabilitation services to homeless and abandoned individuals with mental illness. Our programs focus on building confidence, enhancing abilities, and promoting independent living. Through vocational training, beneficiaries gain livelihood skills and become self-reliant. One of our notable successes includes a student who progressed from requiring full assistance to mainstream education and employment in a bakery. To date, over 500 individuals have benefited from our services. ST. ANN’S TRUST works towards fostering dignity, inclusion, and equal opportunities, striving to create a society where disability never limits growth or potential.
